What Does DSL Mean
Almost all computer owners now use some form of high speed Internet connection. One fo the most popular is DSL. There are hundreds of DSL service providers competing for your business but what are they are actually providing you with? DSL stands for 'Digital Subcriber Line". It works by using frequencies in your telephone line that voice signals don't require. Basically when voice signals are carried through the line they travel only in the lower band of frquencies. What DSL does is utilise the higher frquencies that have always been there but never used.
